看到中文的时候，觉得是(when only looking at Chinese translation, seems like)

所以，看到圣经上写的“有”，要理解为“存在”。因为汉语没有对应的翻译。
so if we see “have” in Chinese bible, sometime we should think it’s ‘be’, for there is no equivalent of the word “being” in Chinese. This word has multiple meanings in English, but only one meaning in Chinese.

明天学校安排我参加“校长周末”，要去Myrtle Beach 3天。任务主要是和学校的董事会成员，客人们交流。有5分钟的发言要准备，不过比较简单。
但是这是很重要的服侍，因为这些客人们对CIU未来的发展有重要的影响。他们需要看到CIU的学生们是如何看待学校的，还有在学校的生活和成长的体验。
今年是三个男生参加这个周末会议，去年是三位女生去参加的。因为只有一个房间住，所以需要同样性别的学生吧。据说去年去的一位女生为CIU募集了很多经费，对我来说是天文数字。不过，从我要承担的任务来看，即使学校收获捐款，也主要不是我的成就。

我需要的是谦卑地祷告，说英语不要结巴，语法比较靠谱，吃饭的时候注意礼仪，好好和我们的董事会成员们，客人们交流，不要给学校丢了脸。但是感谢神提供这样的服侍机会，让我能见到真正生命好的基督徒，向他们学习。

David还不会发’men’这个音，虽然他会说“妈妈”。我们祷告的时候，他不会说“Amen”，但是他跟着我们说，“Abe”，听起来像’啊呗”。
他最近每天晚上都不肯睡觉，要在床上和我们一起祷告，然后在祷告中某个我们不知道的时间就睡着了。这似乎成为他的催眠曲。
