神知道我们需要朋友的支持，我们的信心需要基督徒伙伴的鼓励和确认。我们身边有云彩一样环绕的见证人，都能见证神的恩典和我们借以得救的信心。
我希望我的朋友们开放自己，多看看神安排在我们身边的云彩，多看看各种属灵的书籍（至少，在中国出版的各种属灵书籍，特别是翻译的书，如果不考虑翻译的质量，选题还是很好的，都是最好的书才会翻译过来，所以鉴别起来相对容易。不过，作为一个对译本十分挑剔的业余翻译，我一般是看到中文的书名，然后找原文来看。哈密托福，罪过罪过。）。
封闭自己，不与别的基督徒接触，不与别的教会接触，这种做法之危险，与异端就可能只有一步之遥。

1 我们既有这许多的见證人，如同云彩围着我们，就当放下各样的重担，脱去容易缠累我们的罪，存心忍耐，奔那摆在我们前头的路程，
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 仰望为我们信心创始成终的耶稣（或作：仰望那将真道创始成终的耶稣）。他因那摆在前面的喜乐，就轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦难，便坐在神宝座的右边。
2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 那忍受罪人这样顶撞的，你们要思想，免得疲倦灰心。
3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
4 你们与罪恶相争，还没有抵挡到流血的地步。
4 In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
